Nanna M. Steffensen

I am a Copenhagen-based visual artist and educator working across figurative painting, illustration, and digital media.

In contrast to a sharp division between “classical art” and digital image production, I combine classical painting and studies from a live model with colorfull compositions sketched in Photoshop, to create figurative art with a modern twist.

I have a degree from The Animation Workshop and have worked as an illustrator and concept artist in the games industry. Alongside my artistic practice, I teach at Tegneskolen KBH, focusing on classical drawing and oil painting. I am currently continuing my studies at The Florence Academy of Art.
